*Sing praises!*

Dear Brethren, the feast of St. Cecilia (Patron Saint of the choir) comes up on Friday, 22nd November, 2024.*

*To mark our Patron Saint feast for this year, I urge all Unit Choirs, Parishes, Deaneries/Zones/Vicariates, or their equivalents, Dioceses and of course the Province, to book a 9 days Novena Mass(es) in their various local churches, which should begin from Wednesday, 13th November and to end on Thursday, the 21st of November, 2024.*

Choristers should be asked to write their private intentions and submit, while the leaderships should write an intention that will cover all Choristers within their own choirs and the Province at large.

*The leaderships should approach their Parish Priests or choir Chaplains to celebrate the Holy Mass for the Choristers on Friday, 22nd November (Patron feast Day), and all Choristers within the Parish should attend the Mass. After the Mass, request from the Priest that the petitions/intentions gathered be burned after special prayers. Let's remember all our sick Choristers, those who are in dire need, and those who have passed on.*

*After the Mass and burning of petitions/intentions, the leaderships may decide to have a brief get-together as it may apply to them.*

*May the good Lord hear our prayers and grant our heart desires through the intercession of our Patron Saint Cecilia, amen.*
